Anushka Sharma who is currently on a break was last seen in Anand L Rai’s Zero in 2018 with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Anushka is currently on a vacation with hubby Virat Kohli and going by the pictures that Virat and Anushka share on their social media, the two seem to be having a great time in Bhutan. It is speculated that Anushka Sharma will make her comeback in Bollywood with Farah Khan’s Satte Pe Satta remake. Though Farah hasn’t confirmed the same, it is reported that Anushka will play the lead in the film.
As per reports Anushka is said to be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan in the remake, and this will also be the first time the two will be seen on the big screen together. A leading daily recently reported about Anushka’s character in the movie. While in the original we saw Hema Malini portray the role of a nurse, however Farah in the remake is reported to changed Anushka’s profession. Anushka will essay the role of a teacher and not a nurse in the remake.
It is also reported that Farah will draw inspiration for Anushka’s character for her directorial debut film Main Hoon Naa. Anushka will be showcased as a glamourous teacher like Sushmita Sen from Main Hoon Na. It is further reported how Anushka rather than sarees will flaunt short jackets and summer dresses. It was also seriously speculated how Preity Zinta will play Ranjeeta in the remake, but that as well is yet to be confirmed by the filmmaker. Preity and Hrithik who worked together in Mission Kashmir and Lakshya share a great rapport. And if Anushka, Preity and Hrithik are to star in Satte Pe Satta remake, it will be great to see them all in one frame.
