American actress and singer Emily Osment have officially settled her divorce just a few days after the actress filed for separation. According to the reports, surprisingly Emily submitted the final settlement documents on March 10 which also marked her 33rd birthday. The couple who got married in October 2024 had a short-lived marriage with the date of separation listed as December 7, 2024.
As per the reports in TMZ, the divorce process was reportedly smooth as both Emily and Jack had signed a prenuptial agreement. Also since they have no children together there were no custody issues and both parties agreed to waive spousal support. This allowed them to settle the divorce quickly without any legal disputes.
Before Emily Osment settled for her divorce, she had shared a brief statement regarding the situation in an interview TMZ she mentioned, “With any big decision in life, whether it’s relationships or work, you need to be certain about your choice. Ultimately, this didn’t work out.” She is yet to make any public comments about the divorce on her social media accounts.
The Young Sheldon actress and her ex-husband Jack Anthony were known to keep their relationship private. They first met in 2021 and got engaged in June 2023. Osment had previously shared her excitement about their future together, but the relationship ended soon after their wedding.
While Emily Osment settle the divorce with Anthony, a judge still needs to approve the settlement for it to be legally finalized. However, given the mutual agreement, the finalization process is expected to be straightforward.
