Fake JIGRA Box Office Collections: Film star and Indian producer Divya Khossla Kumar who debuted with her film Yaariyan in the Indian Cinema harshly called out actress Alia Bhatt for falsifying claims of the box office numbers of Jigra. The Savi actress mocked Alia that she has herself made the bookings for the entire theatres at almost every place just to fake her collections.
Jigra released on Friday, 11th October during the Dussehra weekend. The film saw a clash with Tripti Dimri and Rajkumar Rao starrer film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Amid the clash between Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, a shocking revelation by Divya Khosla Kumar has come out. Divya shared a snap on her instagram of the cinema hall showing Jigra and writes, “Theatre was totally empty..all theaters going empty everywhere. #AliaBhatt mei sach mein bahut jigra hai.. khud hi tickets kharide aur fake collections announce kar diya” This comes out followed by the viral news about Jigra’s shows getting cancelled due to lower occupancy in theatres at almost eveyr region.

Previously, the Yaariyan director and viewers worldwide accused Jigra makers for copying Savi’s story and on a broader note, being an exact replica of Sridevi’s old film Gumrah where Sridevi performed a similar role to rescue her husband instead of brother. The controversy did not end here as Karan Johar chose to reply back via his instagram story hours after Divy Khossla spreaded the negativity for Jigra in the air. The Jigra producer shared an instagram story saying that silence is the best response for fools.
Jigra was Alia Bhatt’s first film to be the producer of. The film was direxcted by Vasan Bala and starred Vedang Raina and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles. Vedang’s performance was hailed by many, however so far Alia is only witnessimg negative comments more than praises.
