Maria Georgas, former Bachelor alum, took to Instagram on November 19 to address the fake rumours circulating online about her relationship with American comedian-actor Pete Davidson. In a direct response to the speculations, the actress took to the Instagram story and clarified that she had never dated Pete.
The actress wrote, “Never dated Pete. False rumor! I’m friends with his sister. Case closed.” The rumours had suggested that the two were romantically involved and had recently broken up. Maria however wanted to set the record straight and put the end to the misinformation.
The rumours didn’t stop there. Another article claimed that Pete Davidson had checked into rehab following the alleged breakup with Maria Georgas. However, Maria was quick to shoot this down as well. In a follow-up Instagram story, she revealed that she had spoken to Pete’s sister, Casey Davidson who confirmed that Pete was not in rehab and had been sober for months. She wrote, “Can’t believe this s–t it’s very insulting to his recovery and my mental health. He’s literally home.”

Maria made it clear that these reports were not only false but also disrespectful to both Pete’s recovery journey and her own well-being.
This is not the first time where Maria delved up into such rumours, earlier, she was in the spotlight when she was linked up to former Bachelorette contestant Devin Strader. She was dragged into drama following Devin’s breakup with Jenn Tran but once again, Maria took to social media to deny any involvement, asserting that she had never met Devin or been involved in his relationship fallout.
