In a recent twist, it appears that Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum have ended their engagement after nearly a year. The couple, who have been together for three years have stunned their fans with the news. But while their romance has ended, they’re still working together on a new movie. Just hours before their split was announced, it was confirmed that they’ll both star in Alpha Gang, a new action-comedy.
Directed by Cate Blanchett, Alpha Gang mixes science fiction with comedy. The movie’s story follows a group of aliens who come to Earth disguised as a 1950s biker gang, planning to take over the planet. However, things go sideways when the aliens start feeling human emotions which leads to some unexpected comedy. Along with Kravitz and Tatum, stars like Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, Riley Keough and Léa Seydoux join the cast.
Even though Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum have ended their relationship, they seem dedicated to working together on Alpha Gang. The two first grew close when Tatum starred in Blink Twice, Kravitz’s directorial debut. Despite parting ways, they’ve both shared how much they respect each other’s talents. In an earlier interview, Kravitz shared that “art is our love language”, showing how much they enjoyed creating things together.
While they may have ended their romance, fans can still look forward to seeing them bring their onscreen chemistry to Alpha Gang.
