Brandon Sklenar is stepping into a new role after winning hearts in the romantic drama It Ends With Us. He’s now set to star in a psychological thriller called The Housemaid, directed by Paul Feig. This upcoming film promises to showcase Brandon Sklenar in a completely different light.

According to reports from Deadline, Brandon Sklenar is joining a talented cast that includes Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried. The movie is based on Freida McFadden’s best-selling 2022 novel of the same name, which sold over 3.6 million copies.

The story revolves around a wealthy couple Andrew and Nina (Brandon Sklenar and Amanda Seyfried) with Sydney Sweeney portraying Millie, a young woman eager for a fresh start as their housemaid. However, Millie quickly discovers dark family secrets that threaten her safety and challenge her past.

While the screenplay for The Housemaid is written by Rebecca Sonnenshine and Lionsgate is backing the project. Todd Lieberman from Hidden Pictures is producing, along with Paul Feig and Laura Fischer. Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried are also serving as executive producers, alongside Alex Young and McFadden herself.

Brandon Sklenar, who was recently seen alongside Blake Lively in It Ends With Us, is also set to appear in Christopher Landon’s Drop for Blumhouse/Universal. He made a name for himself in Taylor Sheridan’s 1923 on Paramount+, where he played Spencer Dutton.
