Renowned youtuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia has been seeing himself into massive controversy these days. A remark made out of “fun” turned out to be an obscene comment for netizens, rolling out huge negativity for Ranveer, who is better known as “beerbiceps”. However, the “parental sex” joke which has got the public infuriated was not initiated by Ranveer Allahabadia.A video resurfacing after 10 years showed how Indian comedian Kanan Gill, asked the same question, in the name of joke to actor Jackky Bhagnani, but got no serious reactions from anyone.
10 Years Old Video Goes VIRAL, Kanan Gill Did It First
An old video featuring Kanan Gill, Jackky Bhagnani, and Lauren Gottlieb has now gone viral on the internet, creating huge sensation amid media. It comes from the period when Jackky and Lauren were on a promotional spree for their movie, ‘Welcome To Karachi’. In the viral clip, Kanan, being the anchor of the show reads out a question from his phone, for a rapid-fire kind of session. He begins with stating “This is really fu*ked up.”, and goes on asking exactly the same question on “watch your parents having s*x..” like Ranveer Allahabadia. Hearing the question, the actors were left in splits and reacted by laughing it out. Although the actress Lauren was also seen exclaiming, “This sounds horrible!” as she heard the nasty question but no serious actions were taken against the Indian comedian-anchor Kanan Gill for the same.
Netizens ANGRY On The Biasness Towards Ranveer Allahabadia
As the video has resurfaced on the internet, fans are angry on the authorities for mistreating and misjudging Ranveer Allahabadia for his stint. After the standup comedian Samay Raina pulled down all the episodes of his highly popular show ‘India’s Got Latent’, fans expressed their disappointment and anger on the decisions imposed by the police officials and legal authorities of India. An individual commented on the video, “The simple thing is the Indian govt is trying to hide their major failures behind this conspiracy.” A second user wrote, “Well 2015 us were more chill than 2025 us“.
Others too sided Ranveer and Samay, questioning the double standards of the Indian government. A third comment on the viral video read that things were being drawn out of proportion. Despite Ranveer issuing an apology immediately, and Samay Raina deleting all of his videos from youtube, the probe did not go down. Assam police officials have also filed a case against the podcaster and arrived Mumbai to meet the Mumbai police team working on the scrutinisation of the ongoing controversy.
