Bad Newz Box Office: Vicky Kaushal’s Film To Open In ‘DOUBLE DIGIT’?

BadNewzBoxOffice: Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk’s “Bad Newz” hit theaters on Friday, July 19. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film is anticipated to provide a boost to the Hindi film industry, which has lacked major hits in 2024. Early estimates suggest that the film could gross over ₹9–10 crore on its opening day.

Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 1 Prediction

The romantic comedy is expected to begin its box office journey with a ₹9–10 crore opening and could potentially accumulate around ₹30 crore over the weekend, as per a Pinvilla report. Additionally, Sacnilk reports that the film has already made ₹3.71 crore on its first day from the sale of 93,924 tickets.

Vicky Kaushal, who has yet to achieve a double-digit opening, might see his biggest debut with Bad Newz. His previous best was Uri – The Surgical Strike with ₹8.20 crore on opening day. Recent releases like Sam Bahadur and The Great Indian Family had lower openings. Additionally, with minimal competition—following the end of Kalki 2898 AD fever and the underperformance of Sarfira and Indian 2—Bad Newz has strong potential to be a hit.
