Prominent filmmmaker Nikkhil Advani is soaring high with his ongoing projects. The filmmaker – producer has seen massive success in the past few years, with his bunch of films. However, having worked with big superstars like Salman Khan,Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and many more – Nikkhil Advani recently shed light on his thoughts on the rising stars of Bollywood. Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor, came into the film industry with the film Ishaqzaade,opposite Parineeti Chopra, in the lead role. Ever since then Arjun is shining bright in the industry, surpassing every ups and downs of life. Nikkhil who knows Arjun right from his teen days saw him as an overweight guy, and never ever imagined that he could see an actor in him in the future.
Nikkhil Advani On Arjun Kapoor Losing Weight
In an exclusive interaction held with Lehren Retro, Nikkhil Advani opened up on his thoughts on Arjun Kapoor. While he was asked about the times when Arjun used to assist him during the early days of the shoots, he reflected back on the time with a grace. However, when Nikkhil was asked if he ever saw him as an actor, Nikkhil bluntly reacted with surprise, saying, “Never…I could never see an actor.” Nikkhil said that “Arjun is the person who has surprised all of us, by suddenly losing his weight and becoming serious”.
Arjun Kapoor worked as an assistant director with Nikkhil Advani on his film, Salaam-e-Ishq. He was an overweighed guy back then, which never led anyone to think of him as an actor. However, Arjun Kapoor’s sudden change in his body, and debuting into the film line was surprising for many,including his very close friends till date. Together, Nikkhil and Arjun have worked on the project “Sardar Ka Grandson”. He said they are every now and then discussing big time projects to come up with in the near future. In the detailed interview, Nikkhil has also talked about parting ways with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and regretting it therafter. He was regretful of exiting the production house, espeically at a moment when Yash Johar, to whom Nikkhil terms as “yash ji” was ill.
