90s Bollywood diva Sheeba Agarwal and actor-director Akashdeep Sabir recently sat for an interview where they shared fun anecdotes about their personal and professional lives. As widely known, Sheeba was once rumoured to be dating Akshay Kumar during the filming of their 1992 movie Mr. Bond. While the relationship didn’t work out, Sheeba’s husband Akashdeep and Akshay Kumar continues to share a great bond with eachother.
During an interview with Lehren Retro, the conversation took an amusing turn while Akashdeep was talking about renowned producer Vikram Malhotra, who backed two successful films like Airlift and Baby. At this point, Sheeba interrupted, playfully commenting, “The last two good movies of Akshay Kumar. After that, which one was great?” Akashdeep quickly defended Akshay, exclaiming, “No, no, no! Padman came out, Housefull 4 came out!” Sheeba then acknowledged, “Okay, even Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was good.”
The conversation then shifted to Akashdeep’s own aspirations, where he admitted that while he dreams of working alongside Shah Rukh Khan in a full-fledged role but says Akshay is his favourite most co-star to work with. Having worked with him in Selfiee and soon in Housefull 5, he shared how the superstar makes everything comfortable – who has an impressive filmography.
