After all the hype and chatter, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has revealed the much anticipated title for his upcoming film with Priyadarshan. As Akshay marks his 57th birthday today, on September 9th, he chose the day to make the big announcement on his forthcoming project.
Akshay Kumar REVEALS His New Film’s Title
Taking it to social media, the Khiladi actor revealed the first look of his next horror-comedy film. The title of the film is ‘Bhooth Bangla’! – a pure amalgamation of the horrendous – humorous tale. The first look of the film featured Akshay Kumar all suited-up holding a bowl of milk with his tongue out, licking the milk. A black-cat, who is usually considered to inauspicious in the Indian culture can be seen sitting on his shoulders while he stands ferocious with a wild expression.
The actor took a moment to thank his fans for showering him so much love on his birthdays every year. He further wrote, “Celebrating this year with the first look of ‘Bhooth Bangla’! I’m beyond excited to join forces with Priyadarshan again after 14 years. This dream collaboration has been a long time coming… can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you all. Stay tuned for the magic!”

Everyone including fans, celebrities and influencers from the industry are praising Akshay Kumar’s new look. Fans are eagerly awaiting for this new horror-comedy and have high hopes as its a reunion between Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar after 14 long years. Youtube comedian Ashish Chanchlani commented, “YAAAAAAAS 🚀👑 agle saal sabka mu band💪🏼”. Youtuber Ranveer Allahabadia aka beerbiceps also wished the Bhool Bhulaiya OG star. The film is slated to release in 2025, under the production of Akshay Kumar, Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
