“Go Live In Dubai”: Abhinav Kashyap Makes Harsh Remarks On Shah Rukh Khan

Abhinav Kashyap stirs controversy again, slamming Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in a fiery interview, telling SRK to “go live in Dubai.” His remarks have sparked massive social media backlash.

Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap brother of director Anurag Kashyap has once again sparked controversy by taking sharp digs at Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in his latest interview. Known for his blunt opinions and open word of mouth, the Dabangg director criticized the two Bollywood superstars while questioning their integrity and connection with the audience.

In a recent conversation with Bollywood Thikana, Abhinav Kashyap went on to make remarks about Shah Rukh Khan, referring to the actor’s homes in Mumbai and Dubai. He said, “This community knows only to take, not to give. They only take, take, and take more. Shah Rukh Khan’s Dubai house is called Jannat, while the one here is called Mannat. What does that mean? All your mannatein (prayers) were answered here.”

He went on to say, “He keeps making more prayers. I heard he is building two more floors on his bungalow. So the demands are increasing. But if your Jannat (paradise) is there, go live there. What are you doing in India?”

Abhinav also took a dig at Shah Rukh’s on-screen persona by referencing a popular line from Jawan “Bete ko haath lagaane se pehle baap se baat kar.” He added, “They have created their palaces beyond the reach of the common man. What do I care what their net worth is? Do you give me food? Shah Rukh may be well-spoken, but neeyat uski bhi gadbad hi hai.”

Earlier Abhinav had accused Salman Khan and his family of being “proven criminals,” stating that the actor is “ill-mannered,” “vindictive,” and uninterested in acting. He also claimed that Salman’s support for Anurag Kashyap’s film Nishaanchi was only to “show he’s our supporter.”

On the other hand Abhinav’s remarks against Shah Rukh Khan have now drawn heavy criticism online. Many users called his statements “Islamophobic” and “divisive”, accusing him of dragging religion into personal disputes.
