‘Tum Itne Ghatiya Aadmi…”: Javed Akhtar Hits Back At Troller After Being Accused For Body-Shaming Cricketer Rohit Sharma

Javed Akhtar always give it back to the trollers. And this time, he called out a troller who unnecesarily accused him of body shaming Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma after one of his congratulatory tweet for Team India's win.

Veteran lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar has never kept himself hesitant to speak on any topic. Whether it is about the controversial theories of Hindu-Muslim, or it is about his old feud with Kangana Ranaut, he never sit back shying away from whatever is put on him. Recently on the win of Indian cricket team in the India v/s Australia ICC Champions trophy, the lyricist took to his social media to congratulate the team and public’s favorite Virat Kohli. However, after a netizen accused him of body shaming the other cricketer Rohit Sharma, Javed Akhtar was instant to revert with a befitting response.

Javed Akhtar SLAMS Troll, Calls Him A Cockroach

Javed in his congratulatory tweet wrote, “Once again Virat has proved that he is the strongest pillar of today’s Indian cricket’ s edifice!!! Hats off!!” To this, a user on twitter commented, “If Virat is strongest pillar then who is Rohit Sharma? Heaviest pillar? Shame on you Javed saab for fat shaming Indian captain.”

While this response surprised many individuals, Javed Akhtar himself came forward to react on the alleged accusation. He wrote back to the user with a long message, labelling his troller as ‘cockroach’. The reply read, “Shut up you cockroach. I have great respect for Rohit Sharma and all the great Indian cricketers of Test History. What kind of a neech And pathatic lair you are that you are claiming that I have ever said a word against dignity of a great player like Rohit. Kabhi socho tum itnay ghatia aur ganday aadmi kyon ho”.

Prior to this, Javed Akhtar congratulated India for its win over Pakistan in the previous match. While he posted positive remarks of Kohli, others asked him to write/chant “Jai Shree Ram”, mocking at his Islamic religion. Even then he made sure to not make no delays and immediately gave it back to the trollers saying their mentality will continue to stoop lower than ever before.
