Arrest Warrant Issued Against Sonu Sood As He Fails To Appear In Court For Fraud Case

A court in Ludhiana, Punjab, has authorized an arrest warrant for Bollywood actor Sonu Sood relating to a suspected fraud case. The warrant was issued by Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur. Rajesh Khanna, a lawyer based in Ludhiana, filed a case involving an alleged fraud of ₹10 lakh. He claimed that Mohit Shukla, the primary accused, deceived him into investing in a counterfeit Rijika coin. The court summoned actor Sonu Sood to testify in the case; however, he failed to appear in response to the summons.

His failure to appear for the testimony lead to the magistrate to call him out for the arrest. The arrest warrant against the actor read, “Sonu Sood has been duly served with summon(s) or warrant(s) but he/she has failed to attend (absconds and keeps out of the way for the purpose of avoiding service of a summon(s) or warrant(s)). You are hereby ordered to arrest and bring the said Sonu Sood before the Court.Official statement from Sonu Sood is yet to come and nobody from his team has given any statement so far.

It is so far awaited that what is action will take place in this and whether the actor will be taken into custody for this legal warrant. Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu Sood was recently seen in Fateh. The actor made his directorial debut with the movie which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead.
