Known well for setting a benchmark in all departments of the Marathi and Hindi film indsutry, Sachin Pilgaonkar is a much renowned name. He is better known by his screen name Sachin, and is a top-level actor, director, writer, producer of the Hindi as well as Marathi films. A recent interview with Sachin and his daughter Shriya Pilagonkar, the father-daughter duo throw light on each other’s cinematic journey throughout.
With the number of hits that he has given, Sachin reveals how much love and respect he carries for the late veteran actor, Sanjeev Kumar. In the conversation with Lehren, he also tells how his love was charged against him because of the media chose to post half-baked statements by him. As he says, when he was once asked about how much he appreciates Sanjeev Kumar’s work and if he believes that SK is the only good actor in the indsutry. To answer the interviewer’s question, the Navra Maza Navsacha actor said that SK is not the only good actor, and there are many other top-level actors too. Poor Sachin had no idea if his words will be uploaded showing a complete changed narrative. The next morning the headlines read, “Sanjeev Kumar Is Not The Only Good Actor, Says Sachin”
In addition to this controversial memory with the media, Sachin also expressed his wish of making his daughter and Kumar meet each other. “Not only did I wish him to meet her but also see her work”, added the proud father.

On the other side, Shriya Pilgaonkar praised some of her father’s evergreen melodies like Bade Achhe Lagte Hai, Satte Pe Satta, Balika Vadhu.
