As Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai celebrates its 25th anniversary, it has been announced that Hrithik Roshan will be making his directorial debut with Krrish 4. This marks an exciting new chapter in the successful superhero franchise, with Roshan stepping into the role of director for the first time. Krrish4 will be produced by Aditya Chopra and Rakesh Roshan.

Rakesh shared a heartfelt message on Instagram alongside a photo with his son, stating, “Duggu, 25 years ago I introduced you as an actor, and now, after a quarter of a century, you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers, Aditya Chopra and myself, to advance our most ambitious project, #Krrish4. I wish you immense success in this new role, accompanied by my best wishes and blessings!” Saba Azad, Hrithik’s girlfriend and fellow actor, expressed her support in the comments with heart emojis.
Fans expressed their excitement over the announcement, especially since Krrish 3 premiered in 2013, leaving many eagerly anticipating updates. One fan boldly suggested that the superhero film would set new records, stating, “Be scared…. #Pushpa2TheRule record is set to break.” Many others have already predicted that the film will be a major success.
While Hrithik has consistently led the Krrish franchise, it remains uncertain whether a new actor will assume the lead role or if he will reprise it. The official cast and crew details have yet to be revealed, and further information is still pending.
The inaugural Krrish film debuted in 2006 as a continuation of Koi…Mil Gaya. The narrative progresses with Rohit Mehra (played by Hrithik Roshan) and Nisha’s (Preity Zinta) son, Krishna (also portrayed by Hrithik), who lives a protected life under the care of his grandmother Sonia (Rekha). However, his life changes dramatically when he ventures into the world in pursuit of his love, Priya (Priyanka Chopra). He ultimately adopts the persona of the superhero Krrish to combat malevolence. This franchise has become one of the most successful film series in India.
