Salman Khan celebrated his 58th birthday yesterday, drawing a sea of fans outside his house eager to catch a glimpse of the superstar. True to form, the actor didn’t disappoint his fans and appeared on his balcony, waving at the enthusiastic crowd.
However, the video capturing the star and his fans quickly went viral across social media platforms. But not everyone reacted positively; some social media users began trolling Salman’s fans.
One user remarked, ‘This is what happens when the entire Bhiwandi and Mumbra come out to the streets.’
Another criticized, ‘Kitni berojgari hai India mein… he is just an actor.’
A third user commented, ‘Itne log picture dekh le iske to picture hit ho jay.’
And a fourth wrote, ‘Is this even news? It’s not like Thakur from Sholay was waving; anyone could have done that.’
On his birthday, Salman hosted a party for friends and family, which saw almost every star from the industry in attendance. Those who couldn’t make it to the party extended their wishes to the star on his social media handles.
Recently, Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan tied the knot for the second time on Sunday. The intimate nikah ceremony of Arbaaz Khan and Sshura Khan took place at sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence in Mumbai.
The entire Khan family, including Salman, Sohail, Salim Khan, Salma Khan, Helen, Alvira Agnihotri, Atul Agnihotri, alongside friends like Raveena Tandon, Riddhima Pandit, Riteish Deshmukh, and Genelia Deshmukh, attended the nikah ceremony.
Shifting gears to the film front, Salman recently starred in the action thriller ‘Tiger 3.’ Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film featured Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in prominent roles.
