On Monday, 18 December, the makers of Prabhas starrer Salaar released the much-awaited second trailer of the film, Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire. The 2-minute and 50-second-long trailer is titled, ‘The Final Punch’ featuring action-packed sequences in the film.
The trailer features the backstory of the character Varadha Raja Mannar (played by Prithviraj), and his true companion Deva (played by Prabhas). The trailer also offers a glimpse of the city of Khansaar. Varadha and Deva who seem to be the true companions seemingly turn against each other by the end of the trailer. The trailer is also full of action-packed scenes guaranteeing to give the audience goosebumps.

For the unversed, Prashanth Neel’s Salaar will be facing a direct clash with Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunki. While Salaar will release on 22 December, Dunki will be hitting the theatres on 21 December.
About Salaar
Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film will hit the theatres on December 22, 2023, and will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
