After the massive success of Karthikeya part 1 and 2, Chandoo Mondeti and Nikhil Siddhartha are collaborating once more for Karthikeya 3 which will be the latest installment in the successful franchise. Nikhil made the official announcement on his X account, reassuring fans that another film starring him as Dr. Karthikeya is in progress.
Nikhil unveiled two behind-the-scenes images from Karthikeya 3 on X as he made the announcement. Sharing the snippets he wrote, “Dr. Karthikeya In Search of a Brand new Adventure … Soon @chandoomondeti #Karthikeya3 #Karthikeya2 #cinema #adventure.”
Chandoo Mondeti is currently working on the script for the third installment of the franchise, and production is expected to commence shortly.
About Karthikeya 1 & 2
Chandoo Mondeti made his debut with the 2014 movie Karthikeya, which achieved significant success. Nikhil portrayed a medical professional in the film, a character who challenged superstitions and debunked them using scientific methods. However, his role in the film depicts an atheist who gradually starts to contemplate the possibility of something beyond scientific understanding.
Although Karthikeya 2, released in 2022, initially follows a similar trajectory, it depicts the character’s transition into a believer. This Telugu and Hindi film brought the actor significant recognition. While Karthikeya featured Swathi, the second installment starred Anupama Parameswaran. The details regarding the cast and crew of the third film are yet to be unveiled.
