Directed by cinematographer Karthik Gattamnen, the much-awaited Telugu film, Eagle was finally released in theatres on 9th January. Starring South actor Ravi Teja the film opened up to positive reviews from the moviegoers. Following the same, the film also registered a decent opening, however as per the latest trade reports, instead of seeing growth, Ravi Teja starrer recorded a drop in earnings during the weekend.
Eagle Box Office Collection Day 3
As per Sacnilk.com, Eagle earned a total ₹ 6 Cr on its first day (opening day) at the box office. However, the film witnessed a slight drop during the weekend. Eagle earned ₹ 5 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 4.70 Cr on Sunday, taking the domestic total to ₹ 15.90 Cr. Although slow, Eagle has managed to beat Rajinikanth starrer Lal Salaam which was released on the same day (9 February).

Talking about the film, Eagle is a Telugu action thriller film featuring the story of a journalist who uncovers the story of a ruthless assassin when she investigates a government cover-up. As per the reports, Ravi Teja plays the role of a professional sniper who is on the hit list of RAW, while Anupama Paramesawan plays the role of a female journalist.
