Musical composer and actor, Vijay Antony’s 16-year-old daughter, Meera passed away on September 19 after committing suicide. The news came out as a shock for people and fans of the actor and composer. Meanwhile, recently, Meera’s father and actor, Vijay Antony shared his first statement in public after his daughter’s unfortunate demise.

Vijay Antony Shares First Statement After Daughter Meera’s Death
Taking to Twitter, music composer and actor, Vijay Antony shared a heart-wrenching note addressing the demise of his daughter, Meera Antony. As per an Indian Express report, his note was roughly translated as, “All you kind-hearted people, my daughter Meera was very loving and brave. She has now gone to a better and peaceful place devoid of caste, religion, money, envy, pain, poverty, and vengeance. She is still conversing with me.”
He further added in the note, “I have died along with her. I have started spending time with her now. Whatever good deeds that I will be doing henceforth on behalf of her, will be initiated by her.”
Reacting to the music composer’s heart-wrenching note a segment of netizens came out and shared their reactions consoling Vijay Antony. A user tweeted, “Stay strong sir we are always there for you”, “May God give u all the strength sir Lost for words”, another user tweeted, “No words to comfort. Just tears in silence. I hope wish and pray I somehow get to share your pain.”
Vijay Antony’s Daughter Meera’s Suicidal Death
Music composer, filmmaker, singer, and actor Vijay Antony’s 16-year-old daughter, Meera was found dead at their residency in Chennai. Meera was found hanging at 3 am at their residence in Alwarpet, Chennai, soon after which she was taken to the hospital but was announced dead on September 19. Reports claimed that Meera was studying at a popular school in Chennai while it is rumored that she was also battling depression.
