Upon its release, the film garnered positive reviews from moviegoers and average reviews from the critics. Subsequently, the film has now registered a solid opening at the box office becoming yet another biggest Malayalam opener of 2024. Here’s how much Mammootty’s Malayalam film, Turbo earned on its opening day.

Starring Mammootty in the lead role, the Malayalam action-comedy, Turbo revolves around Jose, a jeep driver from Idukki, who encounters trouble and is compelled to move to Chennai. There, he becomes involved with Indhu and his close friend, Jerry. However, unexpected twists, including encounters with Vetrivel and others, await Jose in Chennai!

As per sacnilk.com, the Malayalam action-comedy film grossed a solid ₹ 5.70 Cr on its opening day becoming one of the biggest Malayalam openers of 2024. Starring Mammootty the film is expected to see further growth during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday). If all goes well the Malayalam film can easily cross the 20Cr mark by the end of the weekend.
