Recently, the singer talked about nepotism since he encourages all three of his kids, Khatija, Raheema, and Ameen. He said that if they don’t take his legacy forward, his entire setup will turn into a godown.

In an interview with Hindusthan Times, he said that nowadays people have learned this new term, nepotism. He has built all this stuff, this entire world; if his kids aren’t into it, this entire place is going to become a godown. Every step, every inch of every wall, and every chair in my studio has been selected with so much passion and care, and I hope for them to take over from me in the future.”

Talking about making them feel the importance of carrying forward his legacy, he says whatever money he has left for anyone will disappear in a day if they are not smart enough and don’t understand the legacy. He further said that he went through so much financial trouble along with his mother and sisters, and those lessons and the burden he shared with his mother made him who he is today.
