Internet sensation Urfi Javed gave it back to businessman Ashneer Grover who had earlier questioned her talent and popularity. Urfi took to her Instagram story and shared a video in which Ashneer can be heard saying, “Aapka ek core hai..ki aap kaam kya karte ho. Aap jaane kisliy jaate ho. Celebrity for the purpose celebrity banne ka koi matlab nhi hai. Kon bandi hai vo, Urfi Javed, jo bhi naam hai uska, celebrity to woh bhi hai. Kabhi vo jeans neeche pehene ke jagah upar pehen ke aati hai. Uska koi matlab nahi hai. US mein Kardashians hain. Vo famous hain kyun ki vo famous hain. Kisi ko nahi pata woh famous kyu hai, but woh famous hai.”
This statement of Ashneer didn’t go well with Urfi who slammed him in her next Instagram story. She shared a piece of news about Ashneer that is making the headlines these days. Ashneer Grover, his wife Madhuri Jain Grover along with their family members Deepak Gupta, Suresh Jain, and Shwetank Jain have been booked by Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) for an alleged ₹81 crore fraud in December 2022. The FIR was filed by Fintech unicorn BharatPe where Ashneer previously served as Managing Director.
Sharing this news in her Instagram story, Urfi slammed Ashneer as she wrote, “Or inka ‘core’ hai ‘crore’ ka fraud karna, tabhi toh yeh celebrity hai.”
Entrepreneur Ashneer Grover became a household name when he appeared as one of the judges on TV reality show Shark Tank India season 1. However, in season 2, Ashneer was removed from the panel.
