Model and actress Poonam Pandey passed away at the age of 32 after suffering from cervical cancer. The news was brought to light and announced by her team on her Instagram account as they issued a statement. The sudden demise of the model left many in shock. Reacting to her sudden demise many celebs from the TV industry expressed their shock and grief.
Talking to the paps Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui who has previously worked with Poonam Pandey in the show Lock Upp expressed his shock and grief over her sudden death. Munawar stated that he couldn’t process her death, he initially thought it was fake but couldn’t accept it when the news was confirmed.
Actress Helly Shah also expressed her shock as she offered condolences to Poonam Pandey’s family and also urged her fans and audience to raise awareness about cervical cancer.
Rakhi Sawant also shared a video in which she expressed her grief over Poonam Pandey’s death.
Bigg Boss 17 contestant Isha Malviya also expressed her shock regarding Poonam Pandey’s sudden death. She later offered condolences and strength to her family.
For the unversed, on 2 February, a statement was shared on Poonam Panday’s Instagram account announcing her demise. The statement read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
