Maidaan OTT Release: Know When & Where To Watch Ajay Devgn’s Film

MaidaanOTT: Amit Sharma’s much-awaited Bollywood biographical sports drama “Maidaan” debuted in theaters on April 11th. Starring Ajay Devgn, the film received acclaim and positive reviews from both viewers and critics. However, despite the favorable reception, it underperformed at the box office. Following its disappointing theatrical run, the film is now all set to release on OTT.

Maidaan OTT Platform And Release Date

Starring Ajay Devgn and Priyamani, the Bollywood biographical sports drama is now available on Amazon Prime Video. Unfortunately, the film cannot be viewed for free at the moment. To watch it, the viewers will need to pay Rs 349 as it’s currently available for rental. However, “Maidaan” will be released on Prime Video for free in two weeks’ time.

The film’s narrative takes inspiration from Syed Abdul Rahim, the renowned coach and manager of the Indian national football team, celebrated as the driving force behind Indian football’s golden era between 1952 and 1962. Ajay Devgn portrays the character based on Rahim on screen, depicting the coach’s relentless dedication as he strives to excel.

Helmed by Amit Sharma, Maidaan is a biographical sports drama film starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role alongside “The Family Man” fame actress Priyamani as the female lead. Apart from them the film also stars Gajraj Rao, Nitanshi Goel, Chaitanya Sharma, Tejas Ravishankar, Abhilash Thapliyal, Davinder Gill, and Amartya Ray in significant roles.

“Maidaan” has grossed only Rs 70 crores worldwide, despite being produced with a massive budget of 250 crores.
