Koffee With Karan 8 teaser is out: Filmmaker Karan Johar is returning with the eighth season of his iconic talk show, “Koffee With Karan.” The announcement, made with a teaser on Wednesday, has fans eagerly marking their calendars for October 26 when the show is set to premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar.
In the teaser, Karan engages in a hilarious conversation with his own conscience, played by none other than himself. His conscience doesn’t hold back, addressing the criticisms that the seventh season received last year. It is heard saying, “Did someone put something in your coffee last season? “The conversations were so meh, they were so thanda. You could have called it Kold Koffee with Karan. Were those ‘cheese’ jokes with your nepo babies supposed to be funny? A 50-year-old asking 20-year-olds about their sex lives? Lame.”
Acknowledging the feedback, Karan admits that he could have done better last season. However, he’s ready to turn things around in the new season by inviting a diverse range of guests, including ‘grandkids, newly married celebrity couples, or cricketers.’ He cheekily declares, “I am brewing season 8, it’s going to be great.”
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Karan shows that he can take a joke as well as dish them out, saying, “Turns out, my own Konscience wants to troll me too! But screw what he thinks, I’m still brewing Season 8!”

The teaser garnered approval from many of Karan’s colleagues in the film industry, with Vishal Dadlani commenting, “Hahahahahahaha, nobody takes the mickey outta themselves like you do, @karanjohar! In a world full of people taking themselves too seriously, we need more of this!”
