Megastar Chiranjeevi, Jr. NTR And Others BACK Samantha-Naga Chaitanya After Minister’s Remarks

Indian actor Chiranjeevi raised his voice writing that it is shameful that film celebs and families are becoming soft targets.

Amid the ongoing controversy upon minister Konda-Surekha’s malicious claims on Telugu superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce, several stars from the South industry have come up in the ex-couple’s defence. From superstar Allu Arjun to Jr.NTR, Telugu superstars have strongly bashed the minister on stating ill-words around.

Allu Arjun BACKS Samantha Ruth Prabhu

South’s superstar Allu Arjun has backed Samantha as he expressed his outrage on the derogatory remarks. Taking to his X, Allu Arjun writes, “I strongly condemn the derogatory comments made about film personalities and their families. This behavior is deeply disrespectful and goes against the values of our Telugu culture”. Although he did not directly mention the name of the ‘targeted- ex-couple’, but his reaction evidently confirms that he is not accepting the weird comments made on Samantha and Chay’s divorce. He also used #FilmIndustryWillNotTolerate as his caption to the same.

Jr. NTR was also seen condemning the minister’s troll. The Devara: Part I actor addressed Konda Surekha and wrote on his X account, “Dragging personal lives into politics is a new low. Public figures, especially those in responsible positions like you, must maintain dignity and respect for privacy. It’s disheartening to see baseless statements thrown around carelessly, especially about the film industry.” He also added that such reckless behaviours should not be normalized in the country at all.

Indian actor Chiranjeevi also raised his voice. He writes, “It is a shame that celebs and members of film fraternity become soft targets as they provide instant reach and attention. We as Film Industry stand united in opposing such vicious verbal assaults on our members.”

As the hashtag #FilmIndustryWillNotTolerate trends on Twitter, several other actors like Khushbu Sundar, Venkatesh Daggubatti, Nani and others have reacted to the baseless comments made by the minister.
