Following the horrific tragedy that occurred during Wednesday’s Super Bowl victory parade in Kansas City – Missouri, Captain Travis Kelce has made some public remarks. The tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs posted a heartfelt letter on Twitter, expressing his “heartbreak” over what transpired.

“I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me,” he wrote in the message.

Travis’s tweet was sent out just hours after it was announced that three people had been arrested following an explosion of gunfire outside Union Station at the conclusion of the march, which left one person dead and over 20 injured. In addition to greeting the audience that gathered on sidewalks, the Chiefs made appearances on and off a float during their celebration of their Super Bowl victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

Not long after news of the shooting came, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas said the Chiefs organization verified that all players and personnel were safe and accounted for. The individuals thought to be in charge of the shooting have not yet been recognized till now.

For the unversed, Travis Kelce is the long-term boyfriend of American popstar Taylor Swift. Swift was also present at the Kansas City Chiefs vs San Fransisco 49ers finale match held at Las Vegas. The singer was snapped congratulating and sharing some cosy moments with her boyfriend after his mega victory in the game.
