Snoop Dogg Is Working On A Collaboration With BTS

Rapper Snoop Dogg first talked about the collaboration with K-Pop group BTS in February, however, he confirmed it recently.

Snoop Dogg has recently teased a major collaboration with BTS. After speaking about working on a song with the “Butter” group in multiple interviews over the last couple of months, the “Gin and Juice” rapper revealed he has already recorded songs for the upcoming track. In a recent interview, Snoop revealed, “You gotta talk to them, but my parts are in.”

However, the performer first talked about the collaboration during a Mogul Talk chat on Clubhouse in February, though it wasn’t yet set in stone. While noting that his nephew exposed him to just how popular BTS is, the rapper said, “I got a group named BTS that’s waiting on me to do a song with them right now and I’m trying to figure out if I got time to do that.” He went on to say, “He showed me five who look like the Asian New Edition. I said, ‘OK'”

Previously, Snoop teased that the collaboration is officially underway. He said, “The BTS experience you keep talking about. I’m going to let them tell you about it.” Snoop added, “It’s official like a referee with a whistle. I love that entertainment world.” Snoop also praised BTS while saying they make good music. “And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”
