Cannes2024: Preity Zinta is part of the Indian delegation attending this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The actress departed for the French Riviera on Wednesday and has already made her debut appearance at the event, although she has not yet walked the red carpet.
On Friday, a video emerged on social media showing Preity getting ready to step onto the red carpet. In the footage, Preity can be seen posing for a boomerang in a shimmering pearl white gown. She accessorized the outfit with pearl earrings and her hair swept back. With elegance, she struck a pose by the riverside.
At the Cannes Film Festival, the actress is attending to present the Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens in Cinematography award to her longtime collaborator Santosh Sivan. Their first collaboration was on Mani Ratnam’s romantic drama “Dil Se” (1998), where Santosh served as the cinematographer. They are now working together again after seven years on Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming period drama “Lahore 1947.”
Preity Zinta At Cannes Debut
Preity made her debut at Cannes in 2006, attending the premieres of “The Wind That Shakes The Barley” and “Paris, Je T’aime.” She revisited the festival in 2013, representing the luxury watch brand Chopard as its brand ambassador. The actres has now made her comeback at the Cannes after an 11-year hiatus.

On the work front, Preity will be making her Bollywood comeback after her 7 years hiatus from the film industry with Sunny Deol’s upcoming film, “Lahore 1947.”
