Popular YouTuber James Stephen, also known as Mr. Beast, has recently made his debut on X (formerly known as Twitter) with a video that quickly gained over 20 million views. After conquering YouTube, Mr. Beast is now ready to make a big impact on the X platform.

Earlier, the head of X, Elon Musk, suggested that YouTubers should start sharing videos on X. Responding to Musk’s suggestion, Mr. Beast mentioned, “My videos cost millions to make, and even if they got a billion views on X, it wouldn’t fund a fraction of it :/”. He added, “I’m down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking!”

The uploaded video titled “$1 Car vs $100,000,000 Car!!!” carries the caption, “I’m curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make, so I’m reuploading this to test it. Will share ad rev next week.” Within less than 24 hours, the video has already garnered over 20 million views (at the time of writing).

MrBeast boasts over 225 million subscribers on YouTube and has accumulated 25 million followers on X. X initiated its ad revenue-sharing program last year, and Mr. Beast is among the content creators who have joined the platform.

The Street’s estimates suggest that Mr. Beast earns between $3-5 million monthly through ads and sponsorships, with his past YouTube income averaging $4.5 million per month. Forbes reports that this income potential could secure him a spot in the Top 40 of their Celebrity 100 list, surpassing well-known figures like Billie Eilish, Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie, and even the K-pop sensation BTS. As Mr. Beast ventures into X, the online world eagerly awaits how this move will impact his digital empire.
