Louis Tomlinson Reacts To Zayn Malik Singing One Direction’s ‘Night Changes’

Zayn Malik previously posted a 30-second clip on Instagram of himself singing a verse of the band's hit Night Changes and his former bandmate, Louis Tomlinson, made a rare comment about it.

Zayn Malik recently stunned Directioners with his Instagram video of him singing the boy band’s hit song night changes. And the boy band star, Louis Tomlinson, gushed about the video. When the fan asked how it felt like to see Zayn singing One Direction songs, Louis answered, “It was great to see him reminiscing on the one-direction days.”

Zayn, who infamously quit One Direction in 2015, posted a 30-second clip on Instagram on Aug. 15 of himself singing a verse of the band’s hit Night Changes, seven years after parting ways with one of the best-selling boy bands of all time in 2015. In a black and white video clip, Malik can be seen soulfully singing. Directioners were quick to flood his comment section with supportive messages, with many gushing their ears were ‘blessed’ after listening to the rendition on Zayn Malik’s Instagram.

When Zayn left One Direction, he shared in a 2015 interview with The FADER that the band’s music was not to his taste. Zayn added, “As much as I was in that band, and I loved everything that we did, that’s not music that I would listen to.” Zayn’s video sparked demands of a possible 1D reunion, though that might be complicated given the drama that unfolded earlier this year with Liam Payne.

During a May episode of Impulsive with Logan Paul, Liam shared that he’ll stand by Zayn’s side despite the “many reasons” he dislikes him. Louis has remained tip-lipped through it all and seemingly refuses to take sides. During an appearance on the Australian series The Project, the “Two of Us” singer made it clear he did not want to stir “some s**t up.”

Louis Tomlinson recently slammed the first of the group’s studio offerings. The singer shared that twelve years ago, the band got formed, but the first album was not good. One Direction went on to release albums Take Me Home in 2012, Midnight Memories in 2013, Four in 2014 and Midnight in the A.M in 2015. Zayn left the group in 2015, later the rest of the band announced an extended hiatus.
