Gordon Thornton, Estranged Husband Of Mia Thornton, Opens Up About Their Split: ‘I Probably Won’t Be Able To Satisfy’

He Claimed That He Had A Conversation With His Estranged Wife, Who Is 38 Years Old, In Which He Told Her She Could Find What She Needed

Gordon Thornton, the 71-year-old estranged husband of “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Mia Thornton, has revealed that he gave her permission to explore relationships with other men to fulfill her needs. In a recent interview with TMZ, Gordon explained his perspective on their marriage and separation.

Gordon, who recently underwent prostate cancer surgery, expressed understanding of the physical limitations he might face in satisfying all of Mia’s needs, saying, “I know there’s going to come a time when I probably won’t be able to satisfy all of her needs.”

He claimed that he had a conversation with his estranged wife, who is 38 years old, in which he told her she could “find what [she] need[ed] elsewhere.” However, he voiced frustration that despite giving her this permission, Mia had chosen to act covertly, change her story, and hide her actions.

The couple, who had been married for 11 years, announced their split in September. They share two children together, a 7-year-old son named Jeremiah and a 5-year-old daughter named Juliana. Additionally, both Mia and Gordon have one child each from previous relationships.

While Gordon was sympathetic to Mia’s needs, he emphasized that he had asked her not to “give [him] a reason” to doubt her honesty and to keep their children out of the situation. He had advised her to be discreet and not involve the kids.

Gordon alleged that he had discovered phone call records between Mia and her purported new partner, including calls at “2 o’clock in the morning” and while he was “away from home.”

Since their separation, Gordon claimed that Mia has moved on to another man with access to financial resources that he no longer possesses. He believes that her decision to leave him is linked to his limited access to assets and funds at this point in time.
