Fast And Furious Actor Vin Diesel Faces Se*ual Assault Allegations; Former Assistant Lists Explicit Details

Further claims within the lawsuit state that after reporting the assault to Samantha Vincent, Jonasson was promptly terminated.

Fast and Furious actor Vin Diesel is at the center of serious allegations regarding se*xual assault, brought forth by his former assistant, Asta Jonasson, during the filming of “Fast Five.” This lawsuit was reported by Vanity Fair and has stirred significant attention.

According to the lawsuit, Jonasson was employed by One Race Productions in 2010, working on “Fast Five” when the alleged assault occurred. She claims that while at a party and in close proximity to Diesel as part of her job, Diesel allegedly assaulted her after others had left the hotel suite, forcibly grabbing and groping her.

Further claims within the lawsuit state that after reporting the assault to Samantha Vincent, Jonasson was promptly terminated. Vincent purportedly stated that the company no longer required “any extra help.” Jonasson asserts that this termination was a direct consequence of her resisting Diesel’s assault, and she believes Diesel received protection.

Representing Jonasson, Claire-Lise Kutlay of Greenberg Gross stated, “We are proud to represent Ms. Jonasson and hold accountable Vin Diesel and those who allowed and covered up his se*xual assault.” Jonasson is seeking damages for lost wages, emotional distress, and punitive damages as a deterrent for such behavior in the future.

In a subsequent statement to CNN, Bryan Freedman, Diesel’s attorney, adamantly denied the claim. He stated, “Vin Diesel categorically denies this claim in its entirety. This is the first he has ever heard about this more than 13-year-old claim made by a purportedly 9-day employee.”

Reportedly, Jonasson is seeking a civil penalty of $10,000 for each violation, alongside unspecified punitive damages, as outlined in the suit.

Amidst these allegations, Vin Diesel, known for his role in the ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise, has several upcoming projects in the pipeline, including ‘Fast X: Part 2.’
