Fans Spotted Tom Cruise At A Rare Outing With Son Connor

Tom Cruise was enjoying a night out with his son Conner at Game 2 of the National League Division Series in San Francisco when fans spotted the duo.

Tom Cruise gave fans a rare appearance at Game 2 of the National League Division Series in San Francisco on Saturday night. Mission Impossible star, 59, was enjoying a night out at Oracle Park to watch the San Francisco Giants play the Los Angeles Dodgers with his son Connor Cruise, 26, joining him.

Videos from fans and the stadium’s video screens showed Tom grinning ear-to-ear as he took in the game while chatting with fans, and even co-actor Danny Glover. Tom did his best to keep a low profile, even though there was no way to hide one of the most famous faces in the world. He stayed cozy in a navy down jacket and wore his hair slicked back while sitting in pricy $1,000 seats, according to TMZ.

The game was a chance to bond with his son Connor, who was seated next to him. He was even more casual in a black hoodie with a black-and-white trucker hat and a thick beard that he has taken to wearing recently. However, fans were alerted to his presence after he popped up on the Jumbotron and the stadium played Kenny Loggins’ Danger Zone from his film Top Gun.

Giants reporter Amy Gutierrez shared on Twitter that she asked if he was rooting for the Dodgers or the Giants, but he responded opaquely, “I’m a fan of baseball.” Even though it was a family outing, tom cruise was gracious with fans and stopped to chat with people who walked by his seat. He was seen in one fan video turning back to chat with a masked fan and posed for a selfie.

The Magnolia star showed off an infectious smile the whole time and jubilantly fist-bumped passing fans. Lethal Weapon star Danny Glover, 75, was at the same game and was spotted stopping by to chat with Tom, and both men looked as if they were having a great time. Tom and his former wife Nicole Kidman adopted Connor in 1995, shortly after his birth, and they also share their adopted daughter Isabella, 28.

According to People, Connor has stayed close to his father and the Church of Scientology. “Connor lives in Clearwater, which is the church’s main hub. He still deejays but he has really become a big fishing guy. He’s content with living a quieter life,” a source said of the seaside town in Florida, where the church’s headquarters are located.

Tom has been staying busy throughout the pandemic while working on his upcoming film Mission: Impossible 7. Earlier this month, it was reported that he had called it quits with his costar and girlfriend Hayley Atwell, 39, though she still had some scenes to film with him. The pair will also likely be working together in the lead-up to the action film’s release for press junkets.

Hollywood star will next be seen in another sequel, Top Gun: Maverick. He reprises his character Captain Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell from the first film, but now he works as a flight instructor training Lt. Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his late partner Goose. The most anticipated film has been pushed back several times since its original 2019 release date, and it’s now expected to arrive in theaters in May of 2022.
