Directed by Maneesh Sharma and starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles, the much-anticipated film, Tiger 3 was released in the theatres on 12th November. After receiving positive reviews from the audience, the film witnessed a “bumper opening” at the box office and became the biggest opening film of actor Salman Khan.

The much-awaited film Tiger 3 stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The film was released in the theatres on 12th November on the occasion of Diwali. Tiger 3 which is the 3rd installment to the franchise opened up to great numbers on its opening day at the box office.
As per Sacnilk.com, Tiger 3 recorded a bumper opening worth ₹44.5 crore domestically in all languages. Released on the occasion of Diwali, the film saw an overall occupancy of 41.32 percent.
Meanwhile, Tiger 3 has now become one of the highest openers for Salman Khan beating his previous films like Bharat which earned 42.30 crore on its opening day, and Sooraj Barjatya’s film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which earned 40.35 crore.
Sharing the numbers trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted, “#Tiger3 BIGGEST OPENER OF #SalmanKhan that too on a Lakshmi Puja Day.. Day 1 Estimates- ₹ 42 Cr + Nett Single Screens Overperformed on Diwali day .. Plexes Damm Strong.. Monday Business will be HISTORIC”
