Taapsee Pannu has finally broken her silence three days after the Income Tax raid at her house. The IT departed conducted raids at homes and offices of Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap, and other shareholders of Phantom Films. In a press release, the officials said that they have found income discrepancy worth Rs 650 crore after raids.
Taapsee summed up the entire incident in three tweets. She first wrote,
“3 days of intense search of 3 things primarily
1- The keys of the “alleged” bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner.”
The second tweet reads,
“2- The “alleged” receipt worth 5 crores to frame n keep for future pitching coz I’ve been refused that money before.”
And in her third tweet, she took a dig at the authorities and the trolls by writing,
“3- My memory of 2013 raid that happened with me according to our honourable finance minister P.S- “not so sasti” anymore.”
Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu have resumed their life. Anurag posted a picture from the sets of their upcoming film ‘Dobaaraa’. It is Taapsee and Anurag’s third collaboration as they earlier came together for films ‘Manmarziyan’ and ‘Saand Ki Aankh’.
