Sonam Kapoor Sends Legal Notice To YouTuber For Roasting Her, Gets Trolled!

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are now getting trolled for sending a legal notice to a small YouTuber.

Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja have recently taken a bold legal step, sending a notice to YouTuber Raginyy following a controversial video in which the YouTuber humorously critiqued the renowned actress. In the roast video, Raginyy made fun of Sonam and highlighted certain ‘dumb’ comments that she made in interviews and press confrences. She even added a disclaimer: “No hate is intended for the parties involved in the video, all references and commentary is meant for lighthearted entertainment only.”

What initially seemed like a lighthearted take on Sonam’s public persona soon escalated into a legal showdown. Here’s the video that irked Sonam Kapoor and her husband:

As she received the notice, she put up another video by the title “She who must not be named” where she shared her perspective and addressed the growing controversy. She read out the notice sent to her and then hit back at the celebrity couple.

The recent controversy has resulted in Raginyy’s Instagram following from a modest 7,000 to an impressive 38,000. Even her YouTuber channel is witnessing impressive growth ever since she was sent a legal notice.

Meanwhile, some of Raginyy’s Instagram posts were taken down following this controversy. Addressing the same, she wrote, “Thousands of hate accounts on insta, hundreds of borderline cyber bullying r0@$ts on YouTube, hundreds of subreddit posts dedicated to saying the most unhinged things about you and a video with 4k views is what you wanna take down? Stop deleting my insta posts, it’s not okay.”

Though Sonam sent the notice alleging that the YouTube video tarnished her image, the netizens have trolled her even more while supporting Raginyy.

A user hilariously wrote, “That was so wrong roasting her, please do it again.”

Someone commented, “Reasons for notice: 1. Your content is better than hers. 2. You can crack better jokes. 3. You can handle camera. 4. You know what you are talking about. 5. You are using logic and have common sense. 6. You look better than her.”
