Shah Rukh Khan’s Next Venture With YRF Hits Road-Block?

Reports state that Shah Rukh Khan was teaming up with Siddharth Anand and now that venture has hit a road-block due to coronavirus issue. Read below to know more.

A couple of months back the sources revealed that Shah Rukh Khan is teaming up with Siddharth Anand for an action film, which is part of YRF’s 50 years celebration called YRF Project 50. The official announcement of the film was supposed to happen in April but due the coronavirus pandemic the working in the Bollywood industry came to a sudden halt and YRF is unlikely to go ahead with its plan of announcing the venture in the month of April.

The sources close to the project reveal that the pre-production of Shah Rukh Khan’s next film with Siddharth Anand had already begun and it has hit a sudden roadblock.

The sources further added that it is a big scale action film which was planned to be shot across the globe, Siddharth was keen to explore new locations. However, Siddharth had to drop the plan owing to the coronavirus pandemic.

Shah Rukh Khan was to shoot for two films this year, an action film along with Siddharth Anand and a feel-good drama with Rajkumar Hirani. But sadly, King Khan’s fans have to wait a little more for their favorite star’s comeback post the Anand L Rai’s Zero alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Shah Rukh Khan has stayed away from the limelight since the disaster of Zero at the Box Office. Since then the actor is taking time out to thoroughly read the scripts and retrospect on what went wrong. Some sources reveal that SRK has rejected over 30 years in the span of 2 years and has finally chosen three of the most exciting stories, which will be shot in the coming 2 years.

There are also speculations about SRK being a part of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Mr. India 2 and Atlee’s mass action film as well.
