Indian Cinema has gone through a lot of changes since the first ever movie came out in India. The cinema has evolved into a booming entertainment industry that young minds want to pursue the dream to be on camera. With this vision, Netflix India has announced a documentary series The Romantics will be released on 14 February 2023 dedicated to romantic filmmaker and legend Yash Chopra and how his journey started in the late 60s to the present era of 2023. He changed the vision of cinema into a beautiful journey of love stories in Saroo Ke Khett Mein(mustard fields).

The trailer shows all the renowned actors like Ranveer Singh, Rani Mukherjee, Amitabh Bachchan, etc who talked about the legacy of Yash Chopra in Indian cinema. The three generations of Bollywood gave an incite into the romantic process of making a movie and how Yash Chopra changed the definition of romance in Indian cinema.

The series will journey to the 70s, 80s, and 90s and present Yash Raj Productions and how the language of love changed by the legendary director. Karan Johar also shares his experience of working with Yashji and this inspired him to get into direction. But this is not it.

Many celebs even Uday Chopra will be seen talking about the vision of his father when it came to making movies.
