Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Gumraah’ Gets A Release Date

The film has taken over the release date April 7 after Bawaal gets postponed.

Actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur’s upcoming film ‘Gumraah’ has got a release date. The crime drama is set to arrive in cinemas on April 7. Mrunal announced the release date on her social media handle.

Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bawaal’s was scheduled to be released on the same date, but makers have decided to postpone the release.

Gumraah marks maiden collaboration between Mrunal and Aditya. The film will showcase a massive face-off between Mrunal Thakur and Aditya Roy Kapur who will be also seen playing a dual role. Mrunal is playing the role of a female cop.

Gumraah is an official Hindi remake of Tamil film Thadam (2019) which starred Arun Vijay and Vidya. The original film was directed by Magizh Thirumeni whereas the Hindi version will be helmed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar. Gumraah is produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.

Aditya Roy Kapur is also awaiting the release of his crime thriller web series Night Manager, which is an official adaption of British show of the same title. The web series also stars Sobhita Dhulipala and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
