MrAndMrsMahi: Directed by Sharan Sharma the much-anticipated and highly-awaited Bollywood sports romantic drama, “Mr And Mrs Mahi” was finally released in the theatres today on 31 May 2024. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles the film has now opened up to mixed reviews from the public and critics. While the public has tagged the film as a “good watch”, critics, on the other hand, have called the film “bland”.

The film follows Mahendra, portrayed by RajkummarRao, whose cricket dreams were shattered by paternal pressure. Despite facing insults and setbacks, he finds redemption by coaching his wife, played by JanhviKapoor, to excel in cricket, making “Mr and Mrs. Mahi” a tale of resilience and support.
Hours after the theatrical release of the film many moviegoers and netizens shared their reviews and reactions of the film. A user wrote, “Perfect combination of entertainment & emotions with great performances”, another user wrote, “Sach bolu full paisa vasool film hai yaar.. Drama, cricket aur comedy shandar ka combination hai ! mast movie hai”.
One user tweeted, “Just watched #MrAndMrsMahi! It beautifully shows that marriage is all about supporting each other and achieving dreams together”. However, while moviegoers have praised the film, critics on the other hand have different opinions.
