Kriti Sanon Seen In Short Outfit, Papzz Call Her “Janaki Ji”

Kriti Sanon was spotted visiting the office of casting director Mukesh Chhabra last night. Kriti wore a cream-colored tank top and blue denim shorts. She completed her look with a funky jacket. As Kriti came out of the office, paparazzi asked her to pose for pictures. They even called her “Janaki Ji” in ref. to the character she played in her latest film Adipurush.

Kriti played the role of Maa Sita aka Janaki in Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush. Overall, the film received negative reviews and has upset the audience for several reasons. Talking about Kriti Sanon, people were unhappy with her casting and pointed out that there were other actresses like Nayanthara and Mrunal Thakur who would’ve fit the part perfectly. People were also unhappy with the glamorization of Maa Sita in the film and stated that the characters have failed to create an emotional impact.

Meanwhile, Kriti will be next seen in Tiger Shroff starrer action film Ganapath: Part 1. This film will release on Oct 20 on the occasion of Dussehra. In December, she will be seen sharing screen space with Shahid Kapoor in a yet-untitled film.
