Kangana Ranaut Urges Fans To Watch Her Film Tejas, Prakash Takes A Dig At Her

Actor Prakash Raj took a dig at Kangana Ranaut after the actress urged her fans to go watch her film, Tejas in theatres.

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s starrer action thriller, “Tejas” was released in the theatres on 27th October. However, despite opening to positive reviews the film failed to perform well at the box office. Following the film’s poor performance at the box office, actress Kangana Ranaut requested her fans to go and watch her film in theatres.

Sharing the video Kangana wrote, “Even before covid theatrical footfalls were dipping drastically post covid it has become seriously rapid. Many theatres are shutting down and even after free tickets and many reasonable offers drastic footfall decline is continuing. Requesting people to watch films in theatres and enjoy with family and friends or else they ( theatres) won’t be able to sustain. Thanks”.

Reacting to her video actor Prakash Raj took a dig at Kangana Ranaut and tweeted, “India has got Independence just recently in 2014… please wait ..it will pick up.. #justasking”.

Apart from Prakash Raj, a segment of netizens also slammed the actress. Reacting to her video a user commented, “People are going to theatres more than ever. But not to see your movies.”, one wrote, “She’s an clear example for a bad name / fame into film industry”, another commented, “Please don’t try to fool people… no one want to see your shit show .. we saw what happened when Jawan released good movies are doing way better in the halls ever before”.

Tejas Box Office Collection

For the unversed, Kangana Ranaut starrer Tejas had a slow start at the box office, the film recorded an opening of approx. ₹1.25 crore. The film didn’t show any signs of growth even during the weekend. Tejas currently stands at a domestic total of 3.80cr.
