Kajol Recalled Being Chased By Paparazzi: Many times, Paparazzi crossed their boundaries to capture celebrities in their cameras without thinking of any privacy. Bollywood personalities like Anushka Sharma and Alia Bhatt faced this and have, on previous occasions, expressed concerns about paparazzi culture. Kajol recently expressed her concern about the invasion of privacy prevalent in the Paparazzi culture of the entertainment industry. Accepting that being photographed is part of a celebrity’s life, she invented the photographer who constantly follows actors everywhere, even when they are not working.
In an interview with Miss Malini, she discussed the culture of the paparazzi and compared it to a pendulum that began gently but has now picked up speed and reached its climax. In addition to recognising that entertainers are subject to public attention, Kajol highlighted the necessity for balance in the industry and the value of privacy. She voiced her wish for the paparazzi culture’s ferocity to ultimately subside.
Kajol recounted a troubling story about how the paparazzi followed her car even though she wasn’t doing any work-related activity. Kajol revealed that paparazzi were following her as she crossed Bandra, perhaps because they had noticed her car. Even though she wasn’t going out for work or going to a public place, she was nonetheless under continual watch because of her fame. She couldn’t feel scared by their presence and felt inhibited from challenging their behaviour because of her status as a star. In addition, no matter what she was wearing, 7-8 individuals with cameras were always stationed around. In order to maintain her privacy, Kajol said that she must always be on guard.
