Jahnvi Kapoor Gets Back To Trollers With A Constructive Feedback

Jahnvi Kapoor takes the trolls and criticisms as her motivation.

Ever since Jahnvi Kapoor entered the industry, she has often been subjected to nepotism and the privileges that star kids get. But these star kids have also proven that even with privileges they deserved to justify their position. Jahnvi Kapoor has been constantly targeted for wasting this privilege but this time she had spoken up about this constant criticism.

Criticism and Getting Back

She recently starred in Mili and didn’t really play the typical ‘Bollywood heroine’ as she had hardly done a love story except maybe her Hindi film debut Dhadak with Ishaan Khatter. The latest news from Bollywood is that Janhvi spoke about constructive feedback which she appreciates. She said trolling hurts when people ask her on the internet, “Acting nahi aati toh kyu karti hai, nepotism ki bacchi.” She wanted to do a commercial and a love story.

“No matter what you do, someone will find fault with something or have something to say because it makes them feel important. Next thing you know, you’ve hit the headlines… and sadly, people feed on that,” Janhvi was quoted as saying by Harper’s Bazaar.

No matter what people will find fault

She also added, “You know, it really hurts when you’re putting in hard work, sweat, and blood, or going through mental turmoil, and some random anonymous person on the internet says, ‘Handle nahi aati toh kyun.’ karti ho, nepotism ki bacchi? (If you can’t trade, then why are you trying, Nepo baby?). It takes a whole second to reduce you to something insignificant. On the other hand, if someone says, “You were good in Mill, but you could do better in another film.”

“I really want to be part of a touching love story. In retrospect, I do not believe that I have ever portrayed conventional heroines on the screen, as in a romantic comedy. Do you know where the actor just comes in and looks in a certain way and sings romantic songs, I didn’t? I would like to be part of such a project, which of course also fulfills me as an artist.
