Hrithik Roshan, the heartthrob of Bollywood, gave fans a sneak peek into his eco-friendly Ganesh Visarjan celebration at his Mumbai residence. The actor, along with his family and girlfriend-actor Saba Azad, bid adieu to Lord Ganesha in a manner that was both joyous and environmentally conscious.
In an Instagram post, Hrithik shared pictures of the Ganpati Visarjan and captioned it with “Ganpati Bappa Morya. ‘Tis the season for our home and hearts to be filled with joy & modaks (Modaks for everyone else).” It’s clear that the Roshan household was brimming with festive spirit.
The actor himself sported a laid-back look, dressed in a white T-shirt and beige pants, complemented by a grey jacket and a cap. His father, Rakesh Roshan, also kept it casual. However, the women in the family brought a touch of traditional elegance to the celebration. Saba Azad looked radiant in a yellow chikan suit, while Hrithik’s sister Sunaina Roshan donned a pastel green kurta salwar. Hrithik’s mom, Pinkie Roshan, and niece Suranika were also dressed in beautiful salwar suits. Together, they performed the Ganpati Visarjan ritual in a tub filled with water, capturing the essence of the festival.
Hrithik’s Instagram post was met with a flood of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” wishes from his ardent fans. One fan praised their eco-friendly approach, saying, “That is the right way to Bappa Visarjan.” Another expressed excitement for Hrithik’s upcoming projects, including “Fighter” and “Krish-4.”
Apart from the Roshan family’s celebration, Hrithik’s sister Sunaina Roshan had earlier shared a glimpse of their Ganesh Chaturthi festivities. She expressed her deep connection with Lord Ganesha, describing how he listens to her prayers through his big ears and keeps her secrets in his benevolent belly.
Hrithik Roshan’s mother Pinkie Roshan wrote in her Instagram post, “May Lord Ganesha remove all obstacles of your life and Bless you with WISDOM and SUCCESS.”
On the professional front, Hrithik is busy filming for “Fighter,” an aerial action entertainer where he shares the screen with Deepika Padukone for the first time. The film boasts a star-studded cast that includes Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, and Disha Patani. Fans can mark their calendars for its release, scheduled exactly one year after Siddharth Anand’s last blockbuster, “Pathaan,” on January 25.
