KGF star Yash recently announced his new film, Toxic. And ever since the announcement the film has taken the fans and internet by a buzz. The anticipation for the film has been growing among the fans. And as per the latest reports, it is now revealed that Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan will be joining the team as she will make her debut in the South film industry with Yash starrer, “Toxic”.
Kareena Kapoor To Make Her South Debut With Film, Toxic
If the reports are to be believed then Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan who previously expressed her hesitance on working in South films due to the language barrier has reportedly signed up for Yash starrer “Toxic”. As per the reports, Kareena will be seen playing the female lead in the film.
As per India Today, the makers of “Toxic” have been keen on working with Kareena Kapoor Khan and if things do work out with the Bollywood actress then this will also mark her South debut and her first film with KGF star Yash.

Talking about the film, South superstar Yash recently announced his film, Toxic on 8th December. Taking to his Instagram the actor shared an announcement video of the film and wrote, “‘What you seek is seeking you’ – Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups”. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film will be released in theatres on April 10, 2025.
Kareena Kapoor’s Upcoming Films In 2024
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan who was last seen in the film, Jaane Jaan, will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s film Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and others. Kareena also has “The Crew”, and “The Buckingham Murders” in the pipeline.
