Armaan Ralhan has been a huge fan of football all his life. He has been playing football right from his childhood, and when he went to London to study, he even managed to watch a few seasons of the football premier leagues there. Time and again he has mentioned his love for the Chelsea team. He recently did a live chat with Arjun Kapoor for his show Chelsea Ke Superfans where Armaan candidly opened up about his love for football and how he became a Chelsea fan to the core.

“I started playing football as a kid. I used to go for coaching classes at Priyadarshini Park. There was Jeff sir who used to train us and take us to football camps. At that time we used to come back in the evening (to our society), and they’re used to be cars that had left for work. We didn’t have any goalposts or anything. So the goalpost used to be the space between the tires of these cars. It was a lot like gully cricket,” says Armaan Ralhan while talking about his childhood memories of football.
Armaan Ralhan goes on to explain how Jeff sir took them out to the Chelsea ground once for a football camp, and that’s from where his love for the Chelsea team began. He even shares an interesting memory of going in to watch a Chelsea game with a friend but sitting in the opposing team’s stand.
Armaan Ralhan gives out a lot of these anecdotes about how his love for football became his passion in life alongside acting. “I think I am most happy when I am on a football field or on movie sets. They’re the two real passions of my life. Of course, I even love watching films,” concludes Armaan.
